At Silver Cup Lake, we believe everyone—beginners, families, friends, and groups—deserves a day filled with fun and fresh air. Whether you're planning a family outing, a team-building experience, or simply looking for a peaceful escape, our private spring-fed lake offers the perfect setting.

Enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, or relaxing along the shoreline. Plan your visit, bring your favorite people, and get ready for the best lake day in the Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati area.

  • Choose a morning or afternoon reservation for your lake adventure. All visits to Silver Cup Lake require a reservation.

  • We offer rentals! Choose your type of rental at no additional cost and enjoy. Limited supply, book early!

  • All guests are required to complete a waiver before their visit. After booking, you’ll received a confirmation email, follow the link to complete waiver

  • Check in with a staff member, they’ll confirm your reservation and that all guests have completed a waiver

  • Enjoy your day, your way! Silver Cup Lake offers 7.5 acres of beautiful, clean, spring fed water for kayaking, swimming, scuba diving, or just simply relax lakeside

Lake Rules & Safety Guidelines

Enjoy your day at Silver Cup Lake! Please follow these guidelines to keep everyone safe. By entering Silver Cup Lake Adventures, you acknowledge the inherent risks of water activities and agree to assume full responsibility for your safety.

Who Can Explore

  • Scuba Divers: Open Water certification required. Students must be with an instructor.

  • Snorkelers: No certification needed. Stay within your skill level. Life jackets required.

  • Swimmers: Enjoy the lake and floating dock. Life jackets required.

  • Kayaks & Paddle Boards: Perfect for all skill levels. Life jackets required.

  • Pedal Boats: Perfect for all skill levels. Life jackets required.

General Rules

  • Reservations required + signed waiver required for all guests.

  • Minors must be accompanied by an adult; adults sign their waiver.

  • No alcohol, no smoking, no fishing, no glass, no camping.

  • No lifeguard on duty — all activities are at your own risk.

  • We may close the lake or restrict access for weather or safety.

  • Entry implies permission for promotional photos/video.

  • No, we do not provide any scuba gear rentals at this time. Please bring your own equipment, gear and enough tanks for your dive.

  • Included in the price is private access to a beautiful & clean 7.5 acre lake, parking, and use of our equipment if you choose. See pricing here

  • The minimum age is 5 years old. Our smallest life jacket will fit a child 30-50 pounds.

  • Alcohol is not permitted on the property. Guests showing signs of alcohol consumption will be denied entry or asked to leave.

  • Yes, we accept all major credit cards. You can make your reservation online. You can also purchase gift cards here

  • Yes—cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Changes made within 24 hours of your visit are not eligible for a refund. More info here
